To clear up space with the announcements..

You cannot rip Sal's Forum pips!

We've seen a number of other forums (smaller ones, especially clan forums) started by members usually from here that have been using our forum pips. This is not allowed. If you are found using our pips*, you will be asked to remove them immediately within a certain time frame, and if it is not done so then the forum host will be contacted. Salmoneus does not give permission to anyone to use the pips, so there is no excuse if you are caught.
*A pip is the small little graphics tag that shows up under your avatar which identifies your position as either a New Member, Member, Distinguised Member, etc.

Fake Jagex Emails
There are many emails being sent out that appear to be from Jagex but are not. They will tell you to log in at a site that is not RuneScape.com and then will steal your password. Often they will give you something for doing so, like giving you a 14 day free trial of members. Do not fall for this, it is a scam. They will steal your password and account.

Replying in Spam Threads and Answered Threads
If you see a thread that is spam, do not post in it! That would be spamming. Instead, just report the post and a moderator will take appropriate action. With posts that are asking a question, do not answer the question if its already answered. This includes posting "Bob was right".

Quotes
When replying to posts with images, please remove the image tags to keep your post from being too large. Also, don't quote a long post unless you are replying to it. This is all to keep your posts smaller and the forum more compact.
